COTA Queensland CHSP Provider Update
ANZAC Day and other memorial days can be emotionally complex for older people in the community - for some people, they are a source of pride and connection. For others, they may bring grief, distress or difficult memories.
This resources has been developed with trauma awareness lens for veterans and defence connected older people. It may be considered to be used as a stand-alone resource or in conjunction with the Specialisation Verification Framework addressing the aged care needs of veterans and war widows or widowers or those connected with a miliary experience from a trauma aware perspective.
A Word version for adaptation, branding or use to create a Power Point and a PDF version for immediate sharing are available.
