In July and August, people aged 50 are receiving a letter about reducing dementia risk. Some patients may bring the letter or a dementia risk assessment report to their appointment to seek support.
Use routine consultations and health checks, including heart health checks, to identify and address risk early.
Go to dementia risk reduction tools and resources to support preventative care discussions, including translated and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander resources.
