  • CHSP extension to 2029 - Q&A

    Question: When will the extension variation be issued, and will there be an option to revise outputs and unit costings?

    Responses provided by the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing

    • “When will the extension variation be issued” is: Providers will receive an “Invitation to Apply” by December 2026 to confirm their intent to continue providing CHSP services from July 2027 onwards.

    • “Will there be an option to revise outputs and unit costings” - This offer is an extension of providers existing agreements to ensure funding can continue until June 2029 and therefore changes are unlikely. However, we suggest that if providers have questions regarding their Funding Agreement they contact their Funding Arrangement Manager in the first instance.
