COTA Queensland CHSP Provider Update
The Department of Health, Disability and Ageing has provided a Training and Education Catalogue listing learning modules and education resources developed by the them and the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission (ACQSC) to help aged care providers and workers upskill in areas related to the Aged Care Act 2024 (the Act). Resources are grouped by key learning areas under the Act, making it easier for providers to identify workforce learning needs and select suitable training and education options.
The catalogue supports flexible, multimodal delivery. Please be reminded that CHSP Providers can access Alis at no cost and can integrate the Alis modules into their own Learning Management Systems by following the instructions listed here.
This catalogue adds to the information provided on the Department's eLearning for aged care providers webpage. It may also be a good time for you to review your progress against the Priority Actions List - a guide for aged care providers on what to do before and after 1 November 2025, and The Aged Care Act 2024 information go-to-checklist (released May 2026).
All times shown are Queensland time (AEST).
For interstate events, reminders & calendar invites may display in the local event time.
COTA Queensland’s Sector Support and Development team believes every child has the right to be safe, to feel safe and to be protected from harm.
Guided by our organisation’s safeguarding framework, our team has completed a structured risk assessment of our sector-facing activities and undertaken targeted training to strengthen our ability to prevent, identify and respond to child abuse.
We are committed to acting promptly and appropriately if concerns are raised or disclosures occur, and to supporting safe practices across the sector.
