During the pandemic, many of the activities and groups that were a regular part of our lives had to be stopped, or moved online. This meant that many of us couldn't connect with each other and take part in the things that matter to us to the extent we would like. We know that isolation and loneliness has been a big concern.

Now we are starting to be able to get back to doing all the things we love.

What has your experience been like?

What have you missed during lockdown and what are you most looking forward to doing again?

Will you go back to all the things you used to do or has anything changed for you now?

As we ease back into work and play and start getting out and about again, we're all thinking about how to do that in the safest way possible. That includes how we get to where we want to go, which for many of us is on public transport or using taxis or rideshare services. There have been a range of measures put in place including extra cleaning and guidelines about physically distancing while on transport.

Have you been using transport services? What has your experience been like?

What has been working well for you?

Do you have difficulties or concerns about protecting your health?

We have seen a lot of changes to what services, programs, and activities were available over the past months as well as how they were provided. We have also been able to see that some further services and support might be needed in some areas like digital inclusion and loneliness and isolation.

Aside from health (which will soon have a separate conversation on this page), what has changed for you in the services you usually access or the community activities you usually take part in? How have things been done differently?

Should any of those changes remain after COVID-19?

What other services or supports do you think are missing and should be a priority?

During COVID we saw that a sense of community is still alive and well, with organised and informal initiatives and supports springing up in communities. People of all ages and backgrounds put their hands up to support each other in many places across the state.

What was your experience?

What would you like to see more of in your community?

How do we help this spirit of community, sharing, and support to continue?
