COTA Queensland CHSP Provider Update
Content is informed by what you said in our Wellness and Reablement Survey, as well as the findings of the Department’s CHSP Wellness and Reablement 2024 Report which highlights a need for:
A wellness and reablement approach supports older people to stay independent, confident and in control – by doing with, not doing for. The Australian Government requires CHSP-funded aged care providers to embed this approach across all services.
The Working With, Not For series of four webinars aims to support greater understanding of your obligations regarding wellness and reablement with the new Aged Care Act and to offer practical examples to help with applying this approach across a range of different CHSP roles and service types. Insights will also be offered into the benefits of this approach and how it contributes to positive ageing.
Delivered in partnership with our Victorian Sector Support and Development colleagues at Gateway Health, Bellarine Community Health and Ballarat Community Health. These SSD partners have extensive experience supporting CHSP-funded providers to embed a wellness and reablement approach into their services.
