    Support at Home Fact Sheets and Version 3 of the Support at Home Manual

    The Department of Health, Disability and Ageing has released Support at Home fact sheets and Version 3 of the Support at Home Manual

    Version 3 of the Support at Home Manual - access here.

    New fact sheets are available to help older people, their families and carers understand the Support at Home program. In-home care providers are encouraged to give these fact sheets to people in their care who will be moving to Support at Home from 1 November. (Noting that CHSP clients will not move into Support at Home 1 November).

    The fact sheets cover:

    • service classifications and budgets
    • the service list
    • care management
    • Assistive Technology and Home Modifications scheme
    • End-of-Life Pathway
    • Restorative Care Pathway
    • self-management
    • hardship assistance
    • participant contributions.

Guided by our organisation’s safeguarding framework, our team has completed a structured risk assessment of our sector-facing activities and undertaken targeted training to strengthen our ability to prevent, identify and respond to child abuse.

We are committed to acting promptly and appropriately if concerns are raised or disclosures occur, and to supporting safe practices across the sector.
