    The Department of Health and Aged Care is now known as the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing

    Following on from the Federal Election, there have been some changes within the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing, the first being the Department's name.

    Sonia Stewart leads Ageing & Aged Care, and Liz Hefren-Webb is the Aged Care Quality & Safety Commissioner. All lead positions are outlined in the organisational chart.

    Politian movement

    • Mark Butler MP is the Minister for Health and Ageing, and the Minister for Disability and the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
    • Sam Rae MP is the Minister for Aged Care and Seniors.
    • Rebecca White MP is the Assistant Minister for Health and Aged Care, Indigenous Health, and Women.
    • Tanya Plibersek MP is the Minister for Social Services (includes responsibility Aged Pension).
    • Ged Kearney MP is the Assistant Minister for Social Services and Assistant Minister for the Prevention of Family Violence.
