    Consultation - New Aged Care Act Rules consultation: Funding and regulation - Closes 13 + 27 March 2025

    The Department of Health and Aged Care are currently consulting on the New Aged Care Act Rules - Release 2c - funding and regulation - Closes 13 + 27 March 2025

    This stage covers how:

    • certain grant recipients need to act
    • a person can access or correct information on the banning order Register
    • government will calculate an outstanding debt’s value.

    Read their supporting document for more information and provide feedback via our online form by 27 March.

    You can still provide feedback on Stage 3 on provider obligations until 13 March.

Guided by our organisation’s safeguarding framework, our team has completed a structured risk assessment of our sector-facing activities and undertaken targeted training to strengthen our ability to prevent, identify and respond to child abuse.

We are committed to acting promptly and appropriately if concerns are raised or disclosures occur, and to supporting safe practices across the sector.
