    Consultation: Final release of new Aged Care Act Rules - Closes 13 May 2025

    The Department of Health and Aged Care is inviting feedback on the final release of Rules for the new Aged Care Act.

    This stage looks at:

    • entry into the aged care system and how places are allocated to people
    • rules for providers, workers and digital platforms
    • accommodation costs, including bonds and charges
    • regulation of the aged care system, including handling complaints
    • information management, including what the government must or can share
    • other topics, including reviewable decisions.

    Read their supporting document and share your feedback via their online form by 13 May.
