  • Changes - Specialisation Verification Framework

    Changes to the Specialisation Verification Framework

    Earlier this month the Department of Health, Disability & Ageing announced some changes to the way providers apply for Specialisation Verification Framework. From 1 November 2025, a new application process applies under the updated Specialisation Verification Framework, to align with the Aged Care Act 2024.

    What you need to know:

    • If you want to apply for Specialisation Verification under the current framework, you must submit your application by 30 September via the Service and Support Portal.
    • To support this change, no new applications will be accepted from 1 to 31 October 2025.

    Already Verified?

    If you are already verified, your verification will remain valid until it expires. You do not need to re-apply under the updated framework.
