Overview

Join Dr Jo Sun and Dr Pauline Marsh as they explore the important role of Dementia Inclusive Design and Environment in creating communities where people living with dementia can remain connected, engaged and supported. Drawing on insights from the Venture Out Nature Hubs project, they will discuss how meaningful connections with nature, place and community can enhance wellbeing, reduce isolation, and improve quality of life for people living with dementia and their care partners. With dementia recognised as one of the most pressing public health challenges of our time, the design of our physical and social environments has never been more important. This engaging session will highlight practical approaches to creating inclusive, accessible and nature-connected spaces that support people to live well with dementia now and into the future. Register now to hear from Dr Jo Sun and Dr Pauline Marsh and discover how dementia-inclusive design can help build healthier, more connected communities for everyone.
