Overview
This practical workshop is designed to help aged care and community service professionals build confidence in responding to hoarding and environmental neglect safely, respectfully and effectively. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of the complexities involved, learn how to assess risks, communicate appropriately and work collaboratively with other services to support positive outcomes.
The session focuses on real-world practice, helping staff recognise signs of hoarding and environmental neglect while balancing duty of care, client autonomy and safety considerations.
