Ethnic Communities Council of Queensland (ECCQ) is excited to invite you to our first Multicultural Aged Care Expo 2025, on 8 May from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at HumeRidge Church in Toowoomba, Queensland.

 This event will connect aged care service providers, government agencies, and multicultural communities in the Darling Downs Region. The expo will:

• Foster meaningful discussions between aged care services providers and key stakeholders on how delivering high-quality care, safeguarding the rights of older Australians, and cultivating supportive workplaces for multicultural workers.
• Offer a platform for multicultural communities to ask questions about caregiving and explore options for in-home services, respite, or aged care facilities, truly giving them a voice.
• Educate attendees about recent changes in the Aged Care Act, providing a valuable opportunity for engagement and learning.
• Support and showcase local community businesses to sell their products.
• Showcase local artists and performers providing entertainment, which will potentially enhance social cohesion
