COTA Queensland CHSP Provider Update

This free LGBTIQ+ ageing and aged care training is designed to support workers and care partners to better understand the experiences, needs and rights of older LGBTIQ+ people. The session encourages reflective practice and provides practical strategies to help ensure older people feel safe, respected, visible and supported when accessing care and services.
Participants will explore a range of important topics, including:
Support workers, aged care staff, carers, health professionals, community workers, service providers and anyone involved in supporting older people across ageing and aged care sectors.
