The Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission provides e-learning modules for Aged Care Workers, self-service resources for educators, and live learning.
The Commission's online learning system is called Alis, short for Aged Care Learning Information Solution.
Popular topics include:
CHSP Providers and their workers can access the e-modules at no cost via the Commission's online learning platform. Providers can also register to host the modules on their own Learning Management System. This is a great way to embed modules into your existing training structure.
The Commission also provides self-service information and talking points for Educators, on the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards, Code of Conduct, Visitor supports, Case-based education, SIRS and Food and nutrition.
Workers can also access live learning sessions at a cost. Current workshops include Effective Incident Management Systems (IMS), and The strengthened Quality Standards: Preparing for the changes.
You can also access the Commission's resource library, filtering by audience, topic, type of resource, year or language.
