This course will provide insight into the legal aspects of reporting and documenting.

We will clarify key elements of documentation – who your reader is, what needs to be documented and why.

It will help you ensure you are documenting the correct information with clarity and purpose.

The course will cover the legal considerations when documenting and the need for compliance across various ACTS, policies and procedures.

We will discuss the use of terminology and acronyms and review the use of templates.

The session will also discuss consent and what is required to share information.

Target group

Staff responsible for documenting client records in CHSP funded programs. This includes people working across a range of roles including program coordinators, nursing and allied health professionals, case managers and support coordinators
