Dignity of risk and duty of care are essential to person-centred community services. They support safe, respectful, and empowering care by balancing a person’s right to make choices with the organisation’s responsibility to protect wellbeing.

This training provides practical guidance on what dignity of risk and duty of care look like in a community context, and how to apply both in everyday practice and policy.
